After I graduated high school in 2015, I wasn't really sure what I wanted to do with my life. I had always been interested in technology, but I wasn't sure if I was ready to commit to a full-time degree program. So, I decided to take a year gap and try to figure things out.
Eventually, I decided that I wanted to study computer science and pursue a career in the tech industry. I enrolled in a bachelors program and worked hard to complete my degree in 2020. Along the way, I also started working as a DevOps engineer, web developer, and cloud technology specialist. I found that I enjoyed the variety of work and the challenges that came with it.
As I progressed in my career, I often thought about the quote “A jack of all trades is a master of none, but oftentimes better than a master of one.” I realized that while it's important to specialize in certain areas, being able to adapt and learn new skills is just as valuable. And so, I continued to take on new projects and challenge myself to learn as much as I could.
Overall, it's been a rewarding journey and I'm grateful for the opportunity to work in an industry that I love.
